This policy is applicable for items purchased on the Quin Design website only. For items not purchased on the Quin Design website, please contact the original place of purchase for assistance with your exchange or return. For items purchased on the Quin Design website, please complete the Exchanges & Returns Request Form here.
We encourage helmet buyers to try on their helmet at home, taking care not to remove or damage any tags, labels, cling, stickers or other packaging. When trying a helmet on for size, ensure that you adjust the chin strap to secure a snug fit and wear the helmet for between 5-30 minutes to ensure that no painful pressure points develop. Do not take the helmet for a ride until you are satisfied with the fit and know you do not need to return or exchange it.
No Hassle Returns
If your order arrives and doesn’t work for you, return it. Customers may return any new, unused, and unaltered item within 14 days of delivery of your item. We will issue a refund of the purchase price (subject to the Refund Policy) to your original payment method. Please read the Refund Policy below for more details on refunds.

- Exchanges are provided for size or color exchanges without any handling or restocking fee.
- Items sent back for an exchange must be in new, unused and unaltered condition and include the original box, helmet bag, accessories bag and contents, manual, tags, stickers, shield cling (still on the shield) and packaging. Returns must be packaged in the original box with any product documentation that was included with the helmet.
- Items must be shipped back with a protective outer shipping box (do not ship JUST the helmet box back).
- The customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with the size exchange - getting the item back to the Quin Design warehouse and shipping back to the customer.
Refund Policy
- Customers may return any new, unused, and unaltered item within 14 days of delivery of your item. This means you must complete the Return Request Form within 14 days of receiving your item.
- All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Do not ship your item back without one.
- You have 14 days from the day the RMA is issued to return your merchandise so please be sure to print and ship at your earliest convenience. (This means that your returned item(s) must arrive at the Quin Design warehouse within 14 days from the date the RMA is issued.)
- Returned items must be in new, unused and unaltered condition and include the original box, helmet bag, accessories bag and contents, manual, tags, stickers, shield cling (still on the shield) and packaging. Returns must be packaged in the original box with any product documentation that was included with the helmet.

- Once your item is received and inspected, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original payment method. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take up to 10 business days for the credit to be posted to your account.

- If the order was shipped with a free shipping promotion, the shipping cost will be deducted from the final refund amount. Shipping & Processing costs are deducted at a flat $25.

Return Shipping Options
- For customers in any location, you have the option of using the carrier of your choice to return your order to us. We recommend shipping with a method that includes tracking and complete insurance for your helmet shipment.
- All shipments must be made prepaid; packages shipped COD will be rejected. Any refused, undelivered, or abandoned package will be subject to a $10 service fee.
Used or Damaged Goods
- Any item that has been “taken out for a ride” is considered used and cannot be returned.
- Any items that show signs of use (makeup, product residue, wear, bugs, dirt, smell, hair, scuffing, discoloration, scratches, damaged parts or accessories, worn or damaged padding, etc) or otherwise are in a condition other than it was received cannot be returned.
- By returning a helmet, the sender guarantees that the helmet was never worn other than for size check, and was never worn while driving, riding, sitting on or otherwise operating a motorcycle or any other vehicle and that the helmet was never dropped, bumped, or otherwise exposed to any impact, moisture, extreme temperature or any other damage.
- Un-used items that are returned with missing or damaged packaging, tags, components, or accessories may be returned to the customer at the customer's expense or subject to an additional processing fee of up to 25% of the purchase price.
- If a returned item is found to have any signs of use, it will be shipped back to the customer at the customer's expense and no refund will be issued.
Parts & Accessories
- Spare / Replacement Parts including padding and liner replacements, base plates, vent mechanisms, etc are non-returnable and non-refundable.
- Accessories including shields, visors, and Pinlock lenses must be unused and in original packaging.
- Pinlock lenses removed from packaging are non-returnable.
International Returns
- International shipments should be marked as “Merchandise Return” with a carrier that does not levy brokerage fees. Customer is responsible for any applicable brokerage or customs charges.
- Any items shipped COD or having additional brokerage fees that are charged to Quin Design upon delivery will be rejected.
Damaged or Lost Items
- Please let us know ASAP if any items on your order arrive damaged. Please keep all original shipping boxes or bags and take pictures if possible.
- Please let us know ASAP if you have an issue with delivery by the carrier.
- Damaged and lost item claims are handled through the shipping carrier (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL). We will assist our customers in these claims. We ask that customers be patience and proactive in this process as Quin Design is not in control of the process and customer service timeline in these cases.

- The Quin Design team will respond via email to providing you with an RMA Number

- If it is an EXCHANGE - your new size helmet will be dispatched the same day or next day and a confirmation email will be sent.

Shipping Policy
Most of the helmets we sell will ship quickly and be at your door fast. We operate two distribution centers, one in the USA and one in India. Additionally, we work closely with our fulfilment partners in order to have the product shipped directly to you from their warehouse if that means you will get the product faster.
Helmets will have availability status shown once a size/color is selected on the product page; this availability status will also be shown on the shopping cart page and in your order confirmation email. Most products will be marked "In Stock - Ships Within 25-72 Hours". These products will typically ship same or next business day. The earlier in the day the order is placed, the better the chance it will ship that day.
While we will do our best to ship from the distribution center closest to you, naturally not all items will always be in stock in every location at all times. In some cases we will split the order and ship each package out to you individually and in other cases we may need to consolidate the items in one location to ship out as one package. We utilize our best judgment in an attempt to get the products to you as quickly as possible.
Some items will be marked "Available - expect 3-5 business days lead time prior to shipment". These items cannot ship same day and require lead time prior to shipment. If you select an expedited shipping method, please note that this will not reduce the lead time before the order is shipped!
A shipping confirmation email including carrier specific tracking information will typically be sent within 24 hours of an item shipping. For example, if you place an order Monday night and it ships out Tuesday morning, you will receive your tracking information either Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.
Shipping Method Explanation
Business days are Monday-Friday; Holidays, Saturday and Sunday are not included in shipping days.
Fast Standard Shipping
Delivery typically in one to five business days.
Three Day
Delivery by the end of the third business day after an order has shipped. For example, if an order is placed Tuesday night and is processed/shipped on Wednesday, it would arrive on Monday of the following week.
Second Day
Delivery by the end of the second business day after an order has shipped. For example, if an order is shipped out on
Monday, it will arrive on Wednesday. If the order is placed Monday night and ships out on Tuesday, it will arrive on Thursday.
Next Day
Delivery the next business day after an order has shipped. An order that ships out on Thursday with Next-Day delivery would be delivered on Friday. An order shipping out on Friday with Next Day delivery would arrive on Monday.
Shipping Changes
Shipping changes
after the order shipped, such as intercepts, address change, and will call pick-up may be subject to a $10 Service fee per shipment (this is simply passing along the fee billed to us by the carrier to make the change when in-transit)
Order Cancellation
Once an order has been placed, it is final and cannot be cancelled. Quin will work with you to offer an exchange in model or size only as long as stocks permit.
International Shipping Terms & Conditions
Prices are shown in US dollars. For conversion, we recommend using a Currency Converter.
Any import duties, taxes or brokerage fees due at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer. Packing slips for International Shipments cannot be marked as a "gift" or with altered prices.
International Orders may require 3-5 business days or more of
additional processing time prior to shipment as we may need to consolidate items to one location for shipment.
When "Fast International Shipping" method is selected, orders will be shipped by a carrier of our choice (USPS, DHL, or UPS). Typical transit time will be 3-5 business days.
Some brands may not be shipped to certain destinations due to manufacturer restrictions. If you have selected an item that cannot be shipped
internationally we will inform you in the checkout process on our site. If you are visiting the US we can ship any product to your hotel or any UPS store for pickup.

Full charge is achieved after approximately 2 hours of charge time. The battery can last up to 60 hours on standyby, and up to 6 hours if used non-stop at maximum capacity (music on loud volume).
Quin Helmets are ever-evolving through updates in the Arc Chip firmware as well as the QUIN Ride App. Updates to the Arc Chip in your helmet will be made available for download through the Quin website (www.quin.design) and run through the micro-USB charging port on the helmet. Updates through the QUIN Ride App (iOS and Android) will be made available through the App/Play store.
The free QUIN Ride App is available for iOS and Android.
Quin Helmets feature a custom bluetooth communication system, which has been designed to be as open of a system as possible ensuring that users can pair it with any compatible device (including 3rd party devices and intercom systems) or app in addition to the designated QUIN Ride App.
Using the Voice Command feature, you may easily place a call to another rider and communicate through two Quin helmets or a Quin helmet and another device. Quin Helmets do not feature their own intercom protocol (YET!), but are compatible with many 3rd party systems. All future intercom capabilities will be made available through device firmware upgrades and/or App updates.
By designing the integrated technology and helmets simultaneously, Quin has been able to achieve a first-of-its-kind experience. Interior and exterior noise is reduced by pre-integrating the technology, ensuring that wires, speakers, microphones, as well as the control panel do not create unwanted gaps or additional bulk. This also ensures that the safety, fit and comfort of the helmet is uncompromised by user-error or add-ons. The result is an industry-leading experience for audio quality. Additionally, this seamless integration plays an important part in the quality of the IntelliQuin Crash Detection and other features.
The Quin Arc Chip meets or exceeds IP67 - Submerged at 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. Normal helmet usage with exposure to some moisture (sweat) is expected. The technology is designed to be protected by the helmet from exposure to water/rain.
NO. The IntelliQuin system relies on a complex algorithm to detect crashes. The system is designed to act automatically only in worst-case senarios when the detection systemindicates the rider has likely experienced a concussive or incapacitating event. Among other factors, the helmet must experience peak g-force of 70 g’s, which is more than a medium impact typically will produce.
YES. This is an important feature of Quin Helmets. You can manually trigger the SOS Beacon to share your LIVE LOCATION with emergency contacts at any time by triple-clicking the call button.

SHAPE
Determining your head shape will help you choose a size that will fit comfortably. There are three primary helmet shapes:
Long Oval - this shape is much longer front to back than it is wide from side to side.
Intermediate Oval - this shape is slightly longer front to back than it is wide from side to side. It is the most common shape, especially among American helmet brands. This is also the most common head shape in North America.
Round Oval - this shape is almost equal front to back as it is side to side.
Understanding your head shape helps you ensure you choose a helmet that will provide you enough space and flexibility. Quin Helmets come in two shapes - intermediate oval and round oval. See the chart at the end of this page.
FIT
Quin Helmets are designed for a safe, snug fit and run small in comparison with many other brands. Every Quin Helmet also comes with additional padding that helps you customize your fit. If you are between sizes, choose the size larger rather than the size smaller. The additional padding will help provide a good fit, while ensuring the helmet is not too small for you. after the order shipped, such as intercepts, address change, and will call pick-up may be subject to a $10 Service fee per shipment (this is simply passing along the fee billed to us by the carrier to make the change when in-transit)
Order Cancellation
Once an order has been placed, it is final and cannot be cancelled. Quin will work with you to offer an exchange in model or size only as long as stocks permit.
International Shipping Terms & Conditions
Prices are shown in US dollars. For conversion, we recommend using a Currency Converter.
Any import duties, taxes or brokerage fees due at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer. Packing slips for International Shipments cannot be marked as a "gift" or with altered prices.
International Orders may require 3-5 business days or more of
additional processing time prior to shipment as we may need to consolidate items to one location for shipment.
When "Fast International Shipping" method is selected, orders will be shipped by a carrier of our choice (USPS, DHL, or UPS). Typical transit time will be 3-5 business days.
Some brands may not be shipped to certain destinations due to manufacturer restrictions. If you have selected an item that cannot be shipped
internationally we will inform you in the checkout process on our site. If you are visiting the US we can ship any product to your hotel or any UPS store for pickup.
Full Terms and Conditions for International Shipping
Full charge is achieved after approximately 2 hours of charge time. The battery can last up to 60 hours on standyby, and up to 6 hours if used non-stop at maximum capacity (music on loud volume).
Quin Helmets are ever-evolving through updates in the Arc Chip firmware as well as the QUIN Ride App. Updates to the Arc Chip in your helmet will be made available for download through the Quin website (www.quin.design) and run through the micro-USB charging port on the helmet. Updates through the QUIN Ride App (iOS and Android) will be made available through the App/Play store.
The free QUIN Ride App is available for iOS and Android.
Quin Helmets feature a custom bluetooth communication system, which has been designed to be as open of a system as possible ensuring that users can pair it with any compatible device (including 3rd party devices and intercom systems) or app in addition to the designated QUIN Ride App.
Using the Voice Command feature, you may easily place a call to another rider and communicate through two Quin helmets or a Quin helmet and another device. Quin Helmets do not feature their own intercom protocol (YET!), but are compatible with many 3rd party systems. All future intercom capabilities will be made available through device firmware upgrades and/or App updates.
By designing the integrated technology and helmets simultaneously, Quin has been able to achieve a first-of-its-kind experience. Interior and exterior noise is reduced by pre-integrating the technology, ensuring that wires, speakers, microphones, as well as the control panel do not create unwanted gaps or additional bulk. This also ensures that the safety, fit and comfort of the helmet is uncompromised by user-error or add-ons. The result is an industry-leading experience for audio quality. Additionally, this seamless integration plays an important part in the quality of the IntelliQuin Crash Detection and other features.
The Quin Arc Chip meets or exceeds IP67 - Submerged at 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. Normal helmet usage with exposure to some moisture (sweat) is expected. The technology is designed to be protected by the helmet from exposure to water/rain.
NO. The IntelliQuin system relies on a complex algorithm to detect crashes. The system is designed to act automatically only in worst-case senarios when the detection systemindicates the rider has likely experienced a concussive or incapacitating event. Among other factors, the helmet must experience peak g-force of 70 g’s, which is more than a medium impact typically will produce.
YES. This is an important feature of Quin Helmets. You can manually trigger the SOS Beacon to share your LIVE LOCATION with emergency contacts at any time by triple-clicking the call button.

SHAPE
Determining your head shape will help you choose a size that will fit comfortably. There are three primary helmet shapes:
Long Oval - this shape is much longer front to back than it is wide from side to side.
Intermediate Oval - this shape is slightly longer front to back than it is wide from side to side. It is the most common shape, especially among American helmet brands. This is also the most common head shape in North America.
Round Oval - this shape is almost equal front to back as it is side to side.
Understanding your head shape helps you ensure you choose a helmet that will provide you enough space and flexibility. Quin Helmets come in two shapes - intermediate oval and round oval. See the chart at the end of this page.
FIT
Quin Helmets are designed for a safe, snug fit and run small in comparison with many other brands. Every Quin Helmet also comes with additional padding that helps you customize your fit. If you are between sizes, choose the size larger rather than the size smaller. The additional padding will help provide a good fit, while ensuring the helmet is not too small for you.
